Pastor Everett Powell is our Senior Pastor.
He grew up in Front Royal, Va. He accepted Christ at the age of 15 at an Independent Baptist Church. He answered God's call to full-time ministry while working as a pipe fitter.
His preparation for ministry led him to Clear Creek Baptist Bible College, in Pineville, KY. He met and married Jennifer who was a local girl. Together they went to New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Everett and Jennifer have served in Front Royal, VA, Berkeley Springs, WV, Onancock, VA and finally in Martinsburg/Falling Waters, WV for the past 10 years.
Two driving forces led them to start Crossroads. First, the desire to reach the unchurched in creative ways. Second, the desire to see people grow in Christ through small group Bible Study and authentic relationships and a transparent lifestyle.
