Our Vision

Goals are achieved when correct direction is taken and adequate power is given. With the leadership and empowerment of God’s Spirit, Crossroads Community Church will accomplish the goals and fulfill the vision herein stated as we yield our lives to the will of God.

By August, 2010 we see Crossroads intentionally seeking where God is working and joining Him in that work. Crossroads is on mission with God, clearly and creatively communicating His love. Locally, we will do this through Spirit-led worship services, Vacation Bible School, Backyard Bible Clubs, outreach festivals, servant evangelism, church planting, etc. We will be on mission with God through consistent missions education, mission trips and financial support.

With urgency, individuals and groups will passionately pray for and witness to a hurting world. They will selflessly and sacrificially give of their time, talents and treasures in order to communicate God’s love and forgiveness through Christ.

Crossroads will have a simple but functional multi-purpose structure, on ten acres that will house resources to promote evangelism and discipleship to our growing family. This facility will welcome 400 worshipers in multiple worship services, as well as provide classrooms for Bible studies, a fellowship hall, recreational area, church administrative offices, and adequate space for ministries to meet the needs of our church and community.

We see these 300 Christ-followers equipped and empowered, utilizing their spiritual gifts in effective, joyous service and outreach. There will be 20 small groups and Bible studies for all ages, with 75% of the congregation attending. 75% of the congregation will travel the Crossroads’ Journey (our discipleship program) to learn our vision and values; and to become disciples by using their gifts and entering the harvest.

We will have five full-time staff, which will include senior pastor, pastor of students, and a worship pastor and two full-time secretaries. Serving with these pastors will be four elders/lay pastors who will assist leadership and spiritual aspects of our congregation. There will be eight deacons who will serve the congregation’s physical needs that are not covered by the small groups and their leaders.
